Zodiac (2007)

A taut and convincing film about the search for a serial killer in San Francisco in the late 1960's and subsequently, based on a newspaperman's quest to track the man down. The film is a little over-long, but it's a thrilling drama.

A little over halfway through the film, an appeal to the public has been launched, and inevitably this brings in scores of crackpot timewasters, including this transvestite, seen only very briefly and referred to as "Sir".
