Zamaana Deewana (1995, India)

Dancing for the gang chief A Bollywood film in which the police are at their wits' end as two rival criminal gangs are running loose in the district. The only solution seems to be to bring in a criminal psychologist Kamdev Singh, known as K.D. and played by Anupam Kher.

A change of outfit K.D. is a bumbling eccentric, but he has a plan to make the two gangs combine by intermarrying a daughter and son respectively of the gang leaders. K.D. acts all this out in an extended fantasy song and dance number in which he becomes a slightly tubby female, singing to one of the gang bosses. He changes outfits about halfway through. The sequence ends in reality with a bang when K.D. awakens, kissing the Assistant Commissioner of Police.
