Zis Boom Bah (1941)

Huntz Hall performs a smoochy dance A dull film about a successful actress, Grace Hayes, who sends her son to college. The film is an opportunity for several artistes to perform. There is a song and dance show, and during one of the dance numbers, Grace Hayes' secretary Mary Healy is brought out of the audience wearing a beautiful white gown and brought to the backstage door to join the male singer on stage. But in fact when she emerges from behind the curtains, it is Huntz Hall dressed like her. He performs a romantic dance with absolute woodenness; this may have been necessary to get this risqué element past the censors of the time.

The title refers to one of the jazzy song numbers performed.
