Zoë (Ursula Deuker) is a young woman who takes up boxing in the seedy parts of Pigalle, in Paris. She is encouraged by a personable man, Arnold, who is also a boxing promoter, but one day he disappears with all the money, including her winnings. Zoë dresses as a man and tracks him down in a travesty club, and stabs him with a knife. She is arrested and goes to jail for a long time.
The film is presented in documentary form, with black and white clips from before the stabbing, and the interviews include a brief segment with some of the travesty performers in the club where the stabbing took place.
Short film, 24 minutes.
