A film designed to boost the morale of the American home front during WWII, showing typical life on an Army Air Corps base in the Pacific. As part of the entertainment, Jack Slate, Red Buttons, and Henry Slate impersonate the singing trio the Andrews Sisters.
In the second picture, Sergeant Sasha Brastoff does his impersonation of the singer and dancer Carmen Miranda. As a side note, Miranda saw the movie and was so impressed with Brastoff’s performance, she hired him to be her costumer for the rest of her career!
