A rather dated romantic film; James Garner plays a rich oil man who has come to New York to make some money on the stock market. Lee Remick plays Molly Thatcher, a young woman trying to make a career in a financial house, that has a rather anti-women philosophy.
The two lead characters have a professional relationship that very soon transforms into a romantic one. When they go together to an art gallery, the film spends a great deal of time setting up an air of pretentiousness. This camp man runs through the gallery calling for his boyfriend, presumably a very provocative element in a 1963 film. It's very brief and although listed by some, it isn't transgender.
