Weapons of Mass Distraction (1997)

Lionel and Ariel Powers
A complex and wearying film about a big business power struggle that gets personal and dirty. The plot development is too unfocussed to hold the attention on the minutiae.

Late in the film it is revealed that the wife of one of the protagonists, Ariel Powers (Mimi Rogers) is a transsexual, and the fact is not handled sensitively, either by the characters in the plot, or by the film makers. One to avoid.
