Wee Wee Monsieur (1938)

The Three Stooges as harem girls
The Three Stooges ran a long series of short films; the format was always pretty much the same, with zany slapstick nonsense surrounding a fairly thin plot. Their material has worn reasonably well, and while it does not rank with the greats, it is still watchable.

In this film, the trio are poor artists in a Paris garret. Out of money, they join the French Foreign Legion. The captain has been captured by arabs, and the Stooges volunteer to rescue him. The Sheikh has a harem and the stooges break into their quarters; there's only one thing to do when the Sheikh approaches, and the Stooges dress like the girls.
