Ursula (1961)

Ursula is in trouble A very weird short film about a little girl who is disciplined excessively by an adult. It has all the hallmarks of an exercise in sadism, and yet there is no actual beating, only the destruction of the child's pet. There is obviously a message here somewhere but it is difficult to see what it is.

The girl is played by Calvin Waters in his only recorded film role; but there is absolutely no reference in the dialogue to the gender issue.
