Übermut im Salzkammergut (1963, West Germany)

Stil from Uebermut
A light comedy, typical of the period when Germany was asserting her own identity after the war, and the poeple wanted undemanding entertainment.

The story involves romance and mistaken identites in the Austrian resort of the title. Right at the end of the film the policeman Eckzahn (Walter Groß) needs to make good his escape, and does so dressed as an old woman. We don't see where he gets the clothes from, and the shot is very brief and indistinct. In fact the screen shot here is a studio still -- the actual film content is much less clear.
