A strange film set during the American civil war, but without much attempt at period feeling or history.
A man has magical powers -- I don't know how the actors performed this without getting the giggles -- and when a sixteen year old girl (played by a twenty year old actress) has to be protected against the possible desires of a man, the magician arranges for her to morph into him just in time. This and other morphs in the film are done exceptionally skilfully; this one is done with her back to us; she looks over her left shoulder and turns away; as she looks back over her right shoulder, it is him instead. But it's a daft film otherwise.
