Their Purple Moment (1928)

Stan and Ollie dress as female midgets
A Laurel and Hardy film. Stan and Ollie get permission to go out on the town by their shrewish wives. They meet a couple of girls nad give them a good meal, and then there is a floorshow in which midgets do a chocolate soldier routine. However the boys then discover that they haven't got enough money to pay the bill. They try to escape through the kitchen, but they are unsuccessful and the film ends in mayhem as the management stop them.

When filming took place, the final scenes were going to be Stan and Ollie sneaking out wearing the costumes of the female midgets; of course the boys have to go out on their knees. However, this scene never made it to the final film.
