Sangharsh (1999, India)

Coming for the child This film is quoted by many critics as a weak attempt to follow Silence of the Lambs as an identical Indian copy. In fact it is quite a free adaptation, with considerable plot divergences. Incidentally, it was interesting to see an "Easter Celebration" in a Hindi film.

Here the presumed kidnapper of a child has come to do a deal, dressed as a woman.
