Scarlet and the Black (1983)

A rather tall nun A World War 2 story set in Rome and the Vatican. A senior priest is helping refugees to evade capture by the Germans. The priest is Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty (Gregory Peck - in a film that does not quite do justice to his stature as an actor). He needs to go out of the Vatican unobserved by the Germans, so he dresses as a nun, briefly.
