Miss Crabtree is the school teacher and the "Our Gang" kids like her. There is a rumour that she is going to marry and leave them, and when a good-looking man turns up at the school asking for her, this confirms their worst fears. We find out it is Jack (Creighton Hale), her brother.
She is out for lunch, so he goes swimming in a nearby pool; the children hide his clothes to prevent him from wooing their teacher. At the end of the short film he appears briefly in a dress and hat.
