Four teenage boys stay at their boarding school during summer vacation and talk about adolescence and puberty with tragic consequences. Director Shusuke Kaneko uses girls in the roles of the boys supposedly because he couldn't find any males who looked innocent enough. A likely story.
The Japanese title is 1999 Nen No Natsu Yasumi.
