An interesting film, and not quite as offbeat as John Waters' other work. Beverly Sutphin (Kathleen Turner, good performance) is apparently a nice middle-class family mother, but in fact she is obsessively murdering her neighbours.
The film is listed elsewhere because of the appearance of Mink Stole as Dottie Hinkle. Mink Stole had a long association with Waters (who frequently included the Drag Queen Divine in his films) but her real name is Nancy Stoll, and she has never, as far as I know, played transgender parts.
