Ronda nocturna (2005, Argentina)

Lorena waiting for a client
Victor is a street hustler in Buenos Aires. The film follows his exploits one night on the streets, with clients and temporary friends. There is a fair amount of discrete gay action in the film, although the British censor classification is "15". The whole thing is dark and depressing, like a lot of South American cinema.

Victor gets a ride in a car with a friend and they size up the transsexual hookers in a notorious area; the first is Lorena.

Vero
The second is (I think) Vero; there is also Loana and Bianca as "travestis" in the credits.

La Thatcher
And then there is this one; when the boys say she looks like their mother, she replies, "For 30 dollars you can bugger Thatcher, you scum". Margaret Thatcher was the British Prime Minister until 1990, and this sequence says something about her fame. In the credits this character is called "La Thatcher" played by Marcelo Iglesias.

The film has been released under the title Night Watch.
