Rock Star (2001)

A travesty number ...
Chris Cole (played by Mark Wahlberg) is the singer for a heavy metal band called Blood Pollution, but his rigid opinions about what music they should perform eventually gets him thrown out.

But a band called Steel Dragon, that he has always worshipped, asks him to join them. Chris thinks this is heaven -- instant stardom. But he soon finds that the lifestyle puts an enormous strain on him and serious problems develop.

Early in the film, the band meets a rival group in the car park, and there is an altercation in which pointless insults are exchanged, including, "I thought that we were going to see a travesty number here!" (translated back from a German dub.)

Tania standing up to pee
Chris finds that he now has access to any girl he wants; this includes their publicity girl, Tania (Dagmara Dominczyk). But after a crazy party, Chris wakes up the next morning and goes to the lavatory; there is Tania urinating standing up. She says he was great last night (sexually) and Chris feels confused.

Timothy Spall
It was nice to see the British actor Timothy Spall as the road manager.
