Rip Roarin' Buckaroo (1936)

At the ringside in drag
Scotty McQuade (played by Tom Tyler) is a boxer and he loses a big fight that was rigged against him. He decides to leave the ring and turn to working on a cattle ranch. But Lew Slater, who arranged the rigged fight, is still around, plotting to defraud the honest ranch owner.

Scotty is put in jail on a trumped-up charge, but his friend "Frozen-Face" Cohen (played by Sammy Cohen), dresses as a woman and goes to jail, pretending to be his wife. He gets him released in time to fight and win at the big match, supported by Cohen as his second, still in drag.
