Der Rattenkönig (2002, Germany)

Jani's mother helps him to get ready
A moody drama about three boys struggling with adolescence. The main character is the ten-year old Jani (Laszlo Horwitz). His father has left his mother, and Jani is pretty unhappy at school. His friends Luki and Raffael are a little more mature than him, but they have their own difficulties with growing up, so that the formerly close-knit trio begins to experience strains.

Arriving at the party
There is a children's birthday party, and improbably everyone goes as the opposite sex. Jani's mother helps him with make-up.

A first kiss in reverse genders
At the party there is a spin-the-bottle episode, which ends with kissing this girl, dressed in top hat and tails.
