The Road to Singapore (1940)

The road films hadn't quite got into their swing in 1940, and this one doesn't have any plot at all, just some song and dance numbers.

The film is reported as having transgender content because Bob Hope wears a sarong. In fact Crosby and Hope wear lathis, a normal masculine garment in the Malay territories, to merge in with local people at a free feast.
