A teenage boy (Tom Cruise, actually 22 when the film was released) has wealthy and rather square parents. They go away for a weekend and he is left alone. He is encouraged by his friends to live a little and gets into all sorts of difficulty.
One of his friends arranges for a prostitute to come to the house; she turns out to be a transvestite (Bruce Young, pic).
The film didn't really work for me, as the behaviour of the characters wasn't very convincing.
