Reckless Kelly (1993, Australia)

Reckless Kelly is a sort of wannabe Ned Kelly. He likes to watch a soap on television, called Hollywood Outlaw, and takes up the practice of robbing banks and then depositing the money in poor people's accounts. Allegedly.

The film is a "cult" success, which means that if you haven't already heard of the director and main actor, Yahoo Serious, you probably won't like it. For sure the script and the weak acting do nothing to attract the disinterested viewer.

Later in the film Kelly goes to Hollywood and accidentally rides into the set where his favourite programme is being filmed. He rescues a girl in a hold-up, apparently unaware that they are filming. The actress, who has been speaking normally until now, suddenly complains about Kelly's intrusion to the director in a deep dubbed voice (and without much attempt at lip-synching). The director calls her Chuck.
