Quiet Earth (1985)

Due to a blunder in a Government research project, the whole population of the planet is destroyed, except for Zack (and, it turns out later, two others).

Zack comes to terms with the strange situation of being alone in the world. He indulges himself in a number of ways, including wearing this nightie for a while.
