Querelle (1982, West Germany)

The hookers at the harbour
Querelle is a Merchant Seaman; he arrives at the French port of Brest and enters a strange whorehouse, where most of the action, graphically portrayed, is gay.

Directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder; the jerky narrative style of the film and the dreamlike atmosphere make the film hard going at times.

Here a couple of transvestite hookers are seen, very briefly.
