Passion of the Christ (2004)

Satan tempts Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane A powerful film detailing the last twelve hours of the life of Jesus Christ. Whatever your religious position, this is compulsive and realistic viewing. But flogging nearly to death followed by crucifixion is not a pleasant process even for onlookers, so don't expect a feel-good film.

Satan, tempting Jesus in the hours before the day of crucifixion, is played androgynously by Rosalinda Celentano.
