Coogan as Pauline Calf on stage Steve Coogan is a British club comedian; his act consists of set pieces to the audience by a variety of uncouth and dimwitted characters. One of them is Pauline Calf. He is quite convincing and has an accurate eye for the mannerisms of the type of woman he is portraying.
