Le Père Noël est une Ordure (1982, France)

Very funny French film about a sort of Samaritans organisation on Christmas Eve; it looks as if they are in more need of help than their clients.

Katia (Christian Clavier) is a cross-dresser and gets involved with the team in their last minute socialising. The film Mixed Nuts was based on this film, but doesn't quite get the same laughs, even though much of its screenplay is fairly faithful to this original.
