Pee-wee Herman is aptly described as a man-child, and he wins through despite getting into terrible scrapes. Having lost his beloved bicycle, he starts to hitch-hike to find it; he is given a lift by a man who turns out to be a convict on the run. He forces Pee-wee to pretend to be the man's girl-friend at a road block.
Later he finds that his bicycle is in use as a prop in a film shooting lot; he gets in to the studio and encounters these actors from a science fiction film; when he asks them for directions, they each answer in the wrong gender's voices.
And finally, when he finds the set where his bicycle is being used, he gets into the action disguised as a nun (left in the picture).
