On the Town (1949)

The three sailors have turned dancers This is a big song and dance film, and unfortunately they don't make them like this any more. Three sailors, played by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, and Jules Munshin, have a free day in New York, and they have various adventures, mostly amorous.

They get into trouble and have to evade the police. In a funfair, this evidently involves pretending to be harem girls in a sideshow; here a policeman is questioning them. A moment later they perform on stage, and all the police officers gather round and ogle the "girls", of course without recognising them.
