The Olsen Gang, led by the wily and genial Egon Olsen (Ove Sprogoe), specialised in complicated and unlikely plans to steal lots of money, and they never succeeded.
The films became a cult, and were released over the period from 1968 to 1998, and usually started with Olsen coming out of jail from the last failed coup.
In this one, they are going to steal a lot of money from an arms smuggler, who is staying in a big hotel; unusually Yvonne (Kirsten Walther) takes part in the robbery, and finds everything surprisingly easy. She goes to the hotel with Olsen, dressed as two cleaners. Everything is going fine until Yvonne notices how dirty the service areas in the hotel are, and she stays to clean them up.
In the picture, Egon Olsen (as "Egona") is in disguise as part of the robbery.
