Old Maid Having her Picture Taken (1901)

The Old Maid I think this is the earliest transgender film. It lasts just under a minute and a half, taken by Thomas Edison in the most primitive of film eras.

Gilbert Saroni plays a lady, "the Old Maid" at a studio photographer; there is a bit of "business", but no actual disclosure that it is really a man.
