The Old Dark House (1963, UK)

Following the J B Priestley novel and the 1932 film, this is a weak film about a serial killer in a remote and inaccessible house. Yes, it's been done before and since.

In this case the tape recorded messages were recorded by a woman and played slower to sound like a man's voice.
