Nic Smiesznego (1995, Poland)

Starting to dress him The film starts in a mortuary; two attendants are dealing with a body; the label identifies him as Adam Miauczynski, and they speculate about his life.

We immediately go into flashback, and follow his life through chronologically. The title means "not funny" and most of the events in his life were difficult for him.

One of the earliest he can remember was being dressed by his mother. He is naked -- we see him frontally, and she looks disgustedly at his genitalia -- and we see her putting girl's knickers on him.

Wearing the dress He acquiesces in this although he obviously isn't enjoying it. She then puts a little dress on him and a couple of bow clips in his hair. She embraces him and leaves him. The scene lasts about a minute, with a poignant music sound track.
