The widow Guerrino Castiglioni meets Chantal, a young photographic model, and soon marries her. But then he discovers that she was a paratrooper in Germany, and that she has changed sex: a transsexual, in fact. The family and Guerrino's mother start sniping at the situation, and the marriage is in crisis. They separate, but Guerrino can't live without his Chantal.
The title means "Nobody's perfect", a reference to the closing line in Some Like It Hot.
