The definitive and more or less factual Titanic disaster movie. Although the sea scenes aren't very convincing, the personal heroism, and folly, show through.
This film is sometimes listed erroneously; this is confusion with the inferior film Titanic (1953), in which a cad pretends to be a woman to secure a place in a lifeboat.
