A Jackie Chan comic martial arts crime film set in the present day. The five heroes of My Lucky Stars are resting after their previous exploits, but they soon get caught in the crossfire between a drug baron and hired killers. The plot gets complicated, as is often the case with Chan's films.
When an assassination attempt fails, surely the killers will come back to try again. But this group of beautiful women appear.
But something seems to be wrong; isn't that an Adam's apple on the right-hand girl?
Well, as well as Adam's apples, they all seem to have machetes as well, and a fight ensues rapidly. Maybe they didn't all look as beautiful as all that.
In the fight one of them gets turned upside down, and yes, I think we can be certain this isn't a real girl.
A lot of the humour is in the language and sight gags, that Western audiences may miss.
There are several alternate titles:
The Target
Winners & Sinners 3: Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars
Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars, and
Xia ri fu xing.
