The Magic Christian (1970)

Yul Brynner gives song
A mad Peter Sellers comedy; the idea seemed to be to include as many surreal elements as possible, trading on the end of the 1960's Swinging London theme; I found it quite embarrassing to watch.

At the end there is a sequence in which Yul Brynner appears as drag cabaret singer on an expensive cruise ship; he sings "Mad About the Boy" and, as was apparently expected, removes his wig at the end. For some reason this section was shot in a tinted monochrome.

Peter Sellers as a nun
A reference book shows a still of Peter Sellers in the film, in drag as a nun. Somehow I missed that when I saw the film.
