The League of Gentlemen (1960)

Oliver Reid camps it up
A period piece, now, depicting a vanished world. A group of demobilised military men, all short of money, decide to pull off a big robbery, and plan it with the military precision they have been used to. A galaxy of post-war British actors make this a charming study.

They meet regularly to receive briefings on the plan, and in one case this is done in rehearsal studios, where their cover is that they are rehearsing a play. Two men burst in, unaware that the room is occupied, and there is a brief altercation. One of the men is very camp, and amazingly it is Oliver Reid, then 23 years old. He is credited as "Chorus boy".
