A long time ago a family was slaughtered, but a little girl was given custody of the magic lyre. Now later we see all the mayhem that takes place as various bad men try to get hold of it. Brigitte Lin plays Snow, dressed as a man. Nothing was made of this, except that I presume it is to justify her participation in conversations -- and in fights -- in what was a male-dominated society in ancient times.
The film was also released as Deadful Melody.
