The Legend of Billie Jean (1985)

Billie Jean (Helen Slater) and her brother Binx (Christian Slater) get unjustly accused of robbery with violence and go on the run. They get into a lot of scrapes, not all of them very believable, but they manage to get public support by issuing an amateur video of their side of the story.

In a public showdown at the beach, Binx pretends to be Billie Jean so that she can mingle with the crowd, but he gets shot by police marksmen.

The film was a little too confused for me.
