A low budget drama about a group of depressed, suicidal people who are persuaded to travel to Las Vegas where a writer on the subject will be holding a sales event. Various things happen to them on the way, and most of the things are bad. But it is difficult to follow the plot and several of the events are inexplicable.
One of the travellers is this rather tall crossdresser, dealt with sympathetically by the director, and played by Alexander Skarsgård.
The title refers to advice given to writers generally -- to discard the elements of a script or book that are most dear to the writer, as they may lack appeal to the general audience.
