The Killer is Loose (1956)

Wendell Corey plays Leon Poole, a man sent to jail for robbery. He decides he will get revenge on the police detective who arrested him accidentally killing Poole's wife at the time.

In typical B-film tension building, the police are surveying the area at the end of the film, and Poole appears dressed in female outer clothing.
