From the same stable as Der Bewegte Mann: Ralf König wrote a gay comic strip that was transferred into these two films. This must have been a very brave film to make: a German language film with a New York police investigation setting; quite a lot of more or less explicit gay sex and a make believe (i.e. improbable) evil threat.
At the Hotel Quickie, which specialises in daytime room rentals, there have been a series of incidents where the condoms provided by the hotel have bitten off men's willies. Detective Mackeroni (Udo Samel, on the right in the second pic) is an openly gay detective of Sicilian origin, and he is soon on the job in both senses. Babette (Leonard Lansink) is a drag queen friend who frequents the hotel and gets in his way a fair amount of the time.
Quite a lot of suspension of disbelief is needed, but if you can ride with it, it's an amusing, if unchallenging, story.
It was released in the USA as Killer Condom.
Lansink also played Bewitching Jeanie in Der Bewegte Mann, but so far as I know, no other transgender parts.
