The Knockout (1914)

Minta in a suit
Charlie Chaplin film; Chaplin is a boxing match referee, who spends most of the time trying to avoid the flailing punches of the fighters. One of these is played by Fatty Arbuckle (Roscoe Arbuckle) and the girlfriend is Minta Durfee, also known as Minta Durfee Arbuckle.

Whatever, in 1914 boxing matches were not places that women went to, so to get in and see her hero perform, she has to dress as a man; not wearing one of Roscoe's spare suits, though, I shouldn't think.
