Kingpin (1996)

They find Ishmael An interesting film about a man who is a ten pin bowling champion, but he has a hand amputated after he is assaulted. He meets up with a young Amish man who has talent, and he coaches him.

Later in the film, the young man Ishmael freaks out and leaves his mentor, and there is a chase. Improbably Ishmael is eventually found doing a sort of drag gogo dance in a club.
