Journey to the End of the Night (2006)

Nazda discovers that her client is dead
A difficult and bloody film noir based on drug dealing and prostitution in São Paulo, Brazil. The director uses many effects that have the effect of disorienting the viewer; some of these heighten the tension, but others make the film hard work.

Early in the film, we see the transsexual hooker Nazda having sex with a client, pretty explicitly. Nazda is played well by Matheus Nachtergaele. However the client dies suddenly in the course of the action.

The angry man catches up with Nazda
Nazda has an altercation with one of the drug dealers late at night, and when she thows a bottle through his window in spite, he pursues her and cuts her face with a razor in revenge.

Nazda gets her own back at the end
Late in the film, she exacts her own revenge; this is not the first revenge killing in the film, and there is plenty of blood throughout.
