A weak made-for-television adaptation of a long running comic strip adventure, this film disappointed the comic strip fans.
Some ordinary people with extraordinary powers work to save the planet, or at least their American city, from doom of various kinds. Towards the end of the film, "Martian Manhunter" turns temporarily into the character named Fire to get her out of a tricky social situation.
