Jules et Jim (1962, France)

Jeanne Moreau with moustache
Atmospheric, but slow, art film following the lives of two men and love triangle they form with the rather irresponsible Catherine (Jeanne Moreau).

The film was rather shocking when it came out, owing to its relaxed attitude to love affairs. Francois Truffaut directed.

As part of the story, Catherine dresses temporarily as a boy, complete with moustache and cigar.
